James A. Harris, MD

James A. Harris, MD, FISHRS, FACS is an internationally renowned hair transplant surgeon and recognized innovator in the field of hair restoration. Actively participating at the forefront of hair loss and replacement research, Dr. Harris has pioneered and patented an advanced method of follicular unit extraction (FUE), called the Harris S.A.F.E(tm) (Surgically Advanced Follicular Extraction) System. This method provides FUE grafts of the highest quality by minimizing follicle damage. He was also the lead consulting physician on the development of the ARTAS(tm) robot, an image- and algorithm-guided system that uses robotics to make the best selection of follicular units for each individual.
